Liminal Gallery represents a diverse roster of contemporary artists working across painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and mixed media.
As a fine art gallery in Margate, we support artists from the UK and Ireland. We give a platform to voices that have not been represented well in the past. Our carefully chosen artists include both emerging and well-known talents. Each artist offers a unique view and expands the limits of contemporary fine art.
Our Artists page is a growing archive. It shows the work and creative practices of those who have exhibited with us.
Beyond Margate, we extend our reach through exhibitions in London and internationally, ensuring our artists gain visibility on a global stage. Whether through our permanent space at 34 Fort Hill in Margate, our second exhibition space, The Cupboard, or Liminal Gallery Podcast, we are committed to broadening access to contemporary fine art and fostering deeper connections between artists and audiences.We believe that art should be accessible to everyone, which is why we host a variety of events and local exhibitions here in Margate designed to engage the community.
These initiatives not only provide a platform for artists to share their work but also invite the public to participate in the creative process. From artist talks and panel discussions, we aim to create an inclusive environment where dialogue and collaboration thrive.
As we look to the future, we are excited to continue expanding our network of artists and collaborations. We are always on the lookout for innovative voices and fresh perspectives that challenge the status quo. Our goal is to create a vibrant community where art can flourish, and where everyone feels welcome to explore and appreciate contemporary fine art both locally and globally.
